FAQ
- Is “15 minutes to on-air” realistic?
- For self-serve: pay, write/generate your ending, listen, type YES — you can hear a full hour with your tag in about 15 minutes. That’s your first production package. Ongoing hours are produced every hour (target ready ~5 min before :00). Talent VO you mail us for a custom cast is a separate timeline.
- Can we use our own voice?
- Yes — upload MP3 or record in the wizard. Voice synthesis is optional for speed. After approval, new endings may incur production charges.
- What if something sounds wrong?
- QA in the portal (mispronunciation, levels, facts) or call Russell 629-777-4465. We want one less thing on your list.
- Cancel policy?
- 14 days to cancel. After that, a minimum commitment applies because custom endings and setup are real production work.
- Do automated stations need an API key?
- You get a secret feed token (HTTPS URL for latest.mp3 + JSON). No separate developer API product. Portal → Automation tab walks you through in under 5 minutes. Rotate the token anytime.
- Does Condor Studio News broadcast or hold an FCC license?
- No. We are a content / production provider. Your station is the FCC licensee and remains solely responsible for what airs. Each subscription is a per-broadcast-station licence (over-the-air + that station’s associated internet feeds). Multi-station groups need one licence per station. More than 10 stations? A priority conversation with owner Russell Clark — see Enterprise for radio groups. Stations sign the portal disclaimer after approving their ending.
